About Me
Lorenzo Ciccu, architect and urban designer. He has completed in 2012 his studies at the University of Cagliari (IT). In 2015 he has obtained the “Postgraduate Master in Urbanism” at the UPC Barcelona. From 2015 to 2018 he worked at SMAQ Architektur und Stadt with Prof. Andreas Quednau and Sabine Mueller in Berlin. He has been working on different projects, from masterplan to housing development. The list includes the new urban development in the Neu Fahrland Island in Potsdam , the new Berliner Platz in Osnabrueck, the new urban quartier in Wilhelmsburg in Hamburg and a new mixed use development in Hannover Kesselstrasse.
In 2017 he founded Spaziozero, a collaborative architecture and urban design practice based in Cagliari. He won several international design competitions, such as the Europan 14 in Linz (AT), the new waterfront and harbor in Stintino (IT), the renovation and extension of the Villa Giacomini in Varmo (IT) and a school renovation and extension in Guaslia (IT).
