Maria Syed and Adriana Davis are two recent architecture school graduates, currently focused on forming an architectural design collaborative based in a location yet to be determined. Maria and Adriana’s work includes the AIAS Prize in the 2017 Fairy Tales Competition for their entry Playing House, an architectural exercise in illustrating the destructive power of a split personality. Their work explores the creation of more affordable and livable urban spaces through unconventional illustration techniques. Together, they believe that storytelling and narrative intersects architecture to create better living spaces for all.
